Einführung
ISD is looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead and strategically grow its German and European footprint, delivering innovative programming across the region.
Aufgaben
- Lead and strategically grow ISD’s German and European footprint
- Develop and advance ISD’s research, policy and action work within Germany and the EU
- Build and expand a strong team
- Deepen relationships with key stakeholders across government, civil society, academia and media
- Develop and implement an integrated growth strategy including new fundraising approaches
- Represent ISD at major conferences and high-level briefings
- Provide senior editorial guidance to the team
Voraussetzungen
- Proven experience in a senior leadership position in a similar organisation
- Substantial experience in developing and delivering against strategic goals and business plans
- Excellent understanding of ISD’s key issue areas including extremism, hate, disinformation and polarisation
- Significant understanding of programming and fundraising in relevant domains
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial approach to fundraising and development
- Commercial acumen
