Einführung
The European Centre of Excellence for Civilian Crisis Management e.V. (CoE) in Berlin is seeking an Event Manager to lead event and invitation management for workshops, meetings, and other events. The Event Manager will ensure thorough preparation, coordination, and execution of events in various formats, conduct post-event evaluations, and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves expanding the event management toolbox, contributing to internal planning processes, and budget monitoring. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least two years of event management experience, project management skills, and an understanding of public funds.
Aufgaben
- Leading event and invitation management of workshops, high-level meetings, and other events
- Ensuring thorough preparation, coordination, and smooth execution of events
- Conducting post-event evaluations
- Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues and stakeholders for events
- Coordinating and liaising with external stakeholders
- Advising on event management methodology and formats
- Expanding event management toolbox
- Contributing to internal planning processes
- Planning cost calculation and budget monitoring for events
- Occasional travel to European Member States
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of work experience in event management
- Experience in organizing high-level virtual, hybrid, and in-person events
- Experience in coordination and liaison with partners and external service providers
- Project management experience with excellent coordination, planning, and time-management skills
- Understanding of working with public funds
- Prior work experience in the public sector is desirable
