About Ivy

Ivy is a global API for instant bank payments. We enable businesses to accept instant bank payments - taking cards & wallets out of online transactions and reducing cost by up to 10x. Over 60 geographies worldwide are rolling out instant bank payment infrastructure right now. Ivy harmonises these regional bank payment schemes, bringing them to a single point of access.

• Our current team consists of payment experts coming from companies like Klarna, Trade Republic, Revolut, TrueLayer, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, McKinsey, BCG, Trustly.

• We have offices in Berlin and Munich.

• We are working with many of Europe's fastest-growing retailers and innovators (e.g. hood.de, mytheresa.com, roadsurfer.com).

• Up to today, we have raised $30M of funding from Valar Ventures and Creandum, renowned backers of fintech successes like Wise, Klarna, Qonto, N26, and Trade Republic. Founders and industry executives from Adyen, Pleo, N26, Mollie, and Plaid complete our stellar investor lineup.

Your mission

As an Entrepreneur in Residence, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced, VC-backed start-up. We will enable you to be successful in multiple parts of Team Ivy while working closely with the founding team. You will drive your own projects and ultimately execute them, allowing you to contribute to the growth of an early-stage startup and make a tangible impact. The position is full-time for a minimum length of 3 months.

Your profile

• First junior-level experience in a business or at least completed 1 internship in a fast-paced environment (Start-Up, Consulting, Banking, VC)

• Entrepreneurial spirit and eager, ambitious and ready to learn from new challenges

• Bachelor / Master’s degree or currently in transition

• You like to take ownership, are solution orientated and proactive

• A hands on problem solver, able to tackle complex problems autonomously and are goal orientated

• Huge bonus if you are passionate about the fin-tech / payments industry
