Einführung
The WZB Berlin Social Science Center is seeking a doctoral research fellow to join the FORSEE project, funded by the EU. The project aims to provide sociologically grounded insights into stakeholders' expectations and criteria of success regarding AI systems. The research fellow will conduct qualitative research, expert interviews, and contribute to project publications. The position offers remuneration according to EG 13 TVöD Bund, benefits for public service employees, and opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.
Aufgaben
- Conducting qualitative research (primarily policy analysis and discourse analysis)
- Preparing and conducting expert interviews
- Interpretation and presentation of research findings
- Participation in project meetings
- Preparation and co-authorship of scientific publications
- Participation in and presenting results at scientific events
- Supporting project lead in planning and coordinating project work and reports
- Participation in team meetings and colloquium
Voraussetzungen
- Completed Master's degree in a social science discipline
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and as a team member
- Previous experience with discourse and policy analysis
- Expertise or interest in the thematic area of the project
- Excellent command of English language
- German language skills are an asset
