Einführung
The Director of Impact, Evaluation, and Learning (DIEL) will fill a pivotal role in ensuring that IFAW’s initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with its mission.
Aufgaben
- Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks
- Develop robust metrics and methodologies for measuring organizational efforts
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate M&E into strategic planning
- Design program-specific evaluation plans and set performance targets
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and provide training to Program staff
- Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of specific interventions
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to build M&E capacity
- Conduct internal evaluations or assessments of projects or initiatives
Voraussetzungen
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred; MA/MS degree in monitoring and evaluation, biological sciences, or international studies is ideal
- Minimum of five years' experience planning, monitoring, and evaluating international projects
- Five or more years' experience preferred in project management and/or formal/informal education or outreach campaigns
- Understanding of technology use in monitoring and evaluation (including GIS or other geospatial data systems)
- Solid understanding of international animal welfare and conservation issues and stakeholders
- Confident and creative facilitation and public speaking skills
- Superior writing skills, report writing, briefing documents, strategic analysis, etc.
- International experience preferred, particularly working in an international team environment
- Organized, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, and demonstrate diplomacy and sensitivity with people from varying educational, social, and cultural backgrounds
- International travel required
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in multiple languages a plus
