The Data Intern position at inoqo in Vienna, Austria, offers an opportunity for students interested in sustainability, conscious consumerism, and biodiversity to gain insights into a promising impact start-up in Europe. The role involves data entry of external food product data, working on product databases, researching the link between agricultural raw products and food processing technologies, dealing with live data, and training the system for accurate LCA calculations. The internship is full-time for 6 months with the possibility of permanent employment.
Aufgaben
- Responsible for efficient and correct data entry of external food product data into internal database
- Work on product databases including classification, categorization, label research, and filling in missing weight data
- Contribute to the database by researching the link between agricultural raw products and food processing technologies
- Deal with live data and help fill current data gaps
- Train the system to perform more accurate LCA calculations
Voraussetzungen
- Student in the field of natural sciences, agriculture, technology, or engineering (2nd+ semester)
- Experience from previous internships or study projects in food production, agriculture, or nutrition
- Residing in Austria and enrolled as a student in Austria for the full duration of the internship
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have data affinity
- Self-motivated, structured, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Fluent in spoken and written English, German is a plus
- Nice-to-have: Experience with LCAs and coding with SQL or other relevant coding experience, familiarity with scientific language
