Einführung
We are looking for a Commodity Manager for Sunflower Seeds and Oils to manage both the buy and sell side, focusing on strategic sourcing and business development.
Aufgaben
- Strategic sourcing of sunflower kernels
- Review and modify supplier listing criteria
- Screen the market for suitable suppliers
- Lead the supplier selection process including negotiation of frame contracts
- Performance measurement and supplier development
- Lead strategic projects related to raw material selection and sourcing
- Gather understanding of edible oils
- Develop the sales side of oil by-products
- Identify new markets and customers
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in food technology / agricultural engineering or similar
- Min 3 years’ experience in commodity buying or sales
- Excellent customer focus, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to integrate into a multicultural team
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent in German and English, any other language (especially Hungarian or Bulgarian) is an advantage
