ERM, a leading sustainability consulting firm, is seeking a Chemical Regulatory Consultant with expertise in Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring and Lisam Software proficiency. The role involves assisting clients in managing health, safety, and environmental aspects of products in the Chemicals, Crop Protection, and Biocides sectors. The consultant will be responsible for project delivery, regulatory compliance, and client relationship development. Key requirements include a degree in Chemistry or relevant field, experience in SDS authoring using Lisam software, and knowledge of global chemical regulations. Fluency in German and English is essential. The position offers attractive benefits and flexible work arrangements, including remote work options.
Aufgaben
- Classification and labelling of industrial chemical substances
- Safety Data Sheet Authoring / Hazard Communication using Lisam Software
- Creation of Templates using Lisam and Management of Lisam Software Updates
- Industrial hygiene / exposure assessment /global chemical inventory analysis
- Act as an advisor to clients on technical and regulatory product issues
- Support business development activities and proposal writing
- Help junior consultants develop their skills in Lisam Software proficiency
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or relevant environmental science or environmental engineering degree
- At least 2 years experience in SDS authoring using and managing Lisam software within chemical or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with Transport regulation or compliance advisor certification according to ADR and/or IMDG and/or IATA
- Experience in global chemical inventories
- Capacity to work independently, proactively, and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent German and English language skills
