Einführung
The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is a leading applied research organization, and at the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen, we focus on making the production of the future more digital, flexible, and sustainable. This thesis will involve investigating how to design a cyber security concept for secure industrial 5G communication.
Aufgaben
- Research the current state of cyber security aspects in industrial 5G communication
- Design a concept to integrate cyber security aspects into different industrial 5G use cases
- Validate the developed concept together with industry and research partners
Voraussetzungen
- Studying mechanical engineering, computer science, computational engineering science (CES), electrical engineering or a comparable subject
- First experiences in industrial cyber security (standards and frameworks) are advantageous
- A high degree of initiative, motivation and collaborative skills
- Good language skills in English
