Zelestra is a vertically integrated company specializing in developing, constructing, and operating large-scale renewable energy projects. They are seeking a professional to drive their growth strategy through strategic acquisitions, mergers, and partnerships within the renewable energy sector in Germany and Northern Europe. The role involves sourcing opportunities, financial modeling, investment recommendations, due diligence, and negotiation of transaction documentation. The ideal candidate should have a background in finance, business, or economics with experience in corporate development, finance, or investment banking in the energy sector, particularly renewables. Strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and fluency in German and English are required.
Aufgaben
- Drive growth strategy through strategic acquisitions, mergers, and partnerships within the renewable energy sector
- Support the search for solar PV/wind platforms in Germany for acquisition
- Develop sourcing strategies for opportunities
- Ensure quality and consistency of financial models and valuations
- Produce investment recommendation presentations
- Defend investment thesis before management and investment committees
- Monitor opportunity pipeline and prioritize leads
- Prepare and negotiate offers for potential acquisitions
- Manage due diligence process for opportunities
- Support negotiation of transaction documentation
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in corporate development, finance, investment banking, private equity, or infrastructure funds in the energy sector
- Expertise in M&A transactions and project financing in Germany
- In-depth understanding of the electricity and renewables sector in Germany
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel
- Proactive, open personality, and passionate about renewable energies
- Proficient in German and English
