Administrative Assistant

Einführung

The Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) is seeking an Administrative Assistant (f/m/d) to join their team in Berlin. The successful candidate will work alongside the Scientific Co-ordinator, Finance Administrator, and two Senior Scientists to provide administrative support for the Mathematical Research Data Initiative (MaRDI). The role involves establishing and managing a progress reporting system, providing administrative support, onboarding new staff members, and representing MaRDI in NFDI meetings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in any scientific discipline, an interest and/or experience in project management within science, and be comfortable working in German. The position is part-time and initially limited until December 31, 2024, with the possibility of an extension.
