The Account Manager will be a part of the German sales team and will eport to the Regional Sales Manager for North East Germany. He will be responsible to exceed the organization's sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies in his territory. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin, and own and meet the revenue targets in designated sales territory and accounts
Promote the full LBS product and services portfolio through customer visits, relationship building and networking
Establishes professional relationships with key contacts in customer accounts
Develop account-based sales- plans and strategies in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and broader team to grow the sales funnel within the territory, based on a deep understanding of customer short and long term needs
Pro-actively research and identify potential new customers in line with strategic directives in order to generate sales and to expand the Leica Biosystems customer base.
Proactively manage existing sales funnel in the CRM System SFDC, Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies
Own tender projects within the defined territory, provide timely and accurate forecasts for orders and sales

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s Degree
Relevant and demonstrable sales/account management experience with a clinical and/or life science environment
Proven record of successful selling and exceeding targets
Ability to drive business success through managing customer needs, demonstrating consistent and impressive drive to bring change in support of growth over a period of time.
Build constructive and effective relationships both inside and outside the organization
Language: German and English

Travel:

Must be willing to travel within their defined territory up to 60% of their time

Unser Account Manager (w/m/d) - Berlin und Nordostdeutschland wird Teil des deutschen Vertriebsteams und berichtet an den Regional Sales Manager für Norddeutschland. Unser neues Teammitglied wird dafür verantwortlich sein, die Verkaufsziele der Organisation zu übertreffen und die kommerziellen Strategien in dem Gebiet umzusetzen. In dieser Funktion haben Sie die Möglichkeit:

Inhaltliche und kommerzielle Verantwortung für die zugewiesene Vertriebsregion (Markt-Kunden-, Stakeholder Management, Controlling im definierten Rahmen
Neukundenakquise & Beziehungsaufbau zu bestehenden Kunden
Pflege und Aufbau effektiver Beziehungen zu Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in der Region
Organisation von und Teilnahme an lokalen Kongressen und Veranstaltungen sowie Durchführung von Produktschulungen
Beobachtung von Markt- und Wettbewerbsaktivitäten zur Beeinflussung der Vertriebsstrategien des Unternehmens
Sie übernehmen die Verantwortung für die Umsetzung aller geplanten und vereinbarten Maßnahmen zur Erreichung der vereinbarten Vertriebs- und Marketingziele innerhalb der zugeordneten Region
Sie stehen im intensiven und vertrauensvollen Austausch mit Ihren direkten Teamkollegen sowie den angegliederten Zentralfunktionen

Zu den wesentlichen Anforderungen der Stelle gehören:

Bachelor-Abschluss
Einschlägige und nachweisbare Erfahrung im Bereich Vertrieb/Kundenbetreuung in einem klinischen und/oder biowissenschaftlichen Umfeld
Nachgewiesene Erfolge im Verkauf und beim Übertreffen von Zielen
Fähigkeit, den geschäftlichen Erfolg durch das Management von Kundenbedürfnissen voranzutreiben und dabei eine konsequente und beeindruckende Dynamik an den Tag zu legen, um Veränderungen zur Unterstützung des Wachstums über einen bestimmten Zeitraum zu bewirken.
Aufbau konstruktiver und effektiver Beziehungen sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb des Unternehmens
Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch (beides fließend)

Reisen:

Bereitschaft, bis zu 60% der Zeit innerhalb des definierten Gebiets zu reisen
