Einführung
The Resource Management Associate position at UNHCR involves providing technical assistance in budget management, programme implementation, HR, and administration within the Resource Management Unit. The role requires collaboration with team members and other divisions to monitor and implement activities and budgets effectively. The position reports to a (Senior) Resource Management Officer.
Aufgaben
- Consolidate budgetary and financial information/analysis
- Participate in operational reviews and meetings to determine resource requirements
- Update and maintain accurate budgetary and financial information records
- Assist in preparing project proposals and staffing submissions
- Monitor budgetary trends and report on significant variances
- Assist in analyzing progress against set targets
- Support recruitment processes for GS staff and international consultants
- Assist newly-arrived international staff with administrative formalities
- Identify and manage risks impacting objectives
- Perform other related duties as required
Voraussetzungen
- 3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree
- Previous work experience in Programme/Admin/HR areas
- Knowledge of administrative functions and exposure to support services in an International Organisation
- IT affinity is essential
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft/MSRP, Focus, and other system software used by UNHCR
- Functional skills in budgeting, computer literacy, drafting and documentation, resource planning, programme management, resource management, results-based management, and vacancy management
