Aufgaben
- Overseeing the health and well-being of all sanctuary animals, mainly big cats
- Performing veterinary procedures, medical check-ups, and diagnostics
- Maintaining medical records
- Conducting observational assessments and adjusting animal care as needed
- Contributing to general husbandry and preventative medicine protocols
- Assisting in managing free roaming game
Voraussetzungen
- Several years of experience in small or mixed animal practice
- Fully qualified veterinarian registered with the South African Veterinary council or eligible to do so
- South African citizenship due to Employment Equity Laws
- Highly motivated animal welfare mindset
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record-keeping
- Willingness to relocate to Bethlehem, Free State
- Availability to work extended hours, weekends, and be on standby
- Valid driver's license
