    Einführung

    The Director of Talent Acquisition at RAND is responsible for managing the operational performance of recruitment and talent acquisition functions to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. This role involves refining systems and processes, collaborating with HR and department leadership, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving strategic talent acquisition initiatives. The Director will also be involved in recruitment for senior positions, developing talent acquisition metrics, and evaluating employer brand strategy. The position requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, experience in DEI initiatives, and the ability to work in a federal contractor environment.

    Aufgaben

    • Manage operational performance of recruitment and talent acquisition functions
    • Refine systems and processes from staffing planning to candidate selection
    • Implement best practice talent acquisition processes in Workday
    • Develop and interpret company policies to ensure compliance
    • Administer recruitment and talent acquisition programs
    • Provide strategic and tactical management of talent acquisition function
    • Consult with management on recruitment and talent acquisition
    • Drive measurable outcomes in line with staffing plan and talent management strategy
    • Develop and track talent acquisition metrics and analytics
    • Evaluate employer brand strategy as it relates to talent

    Voraussetzungen

    • Demonstrated experience building strong business relationships with executive management
    • Competency in leadership/management role
    • Knowledge of talent acquisition concepts, techniques, and best practices
    • Experience in change and project management
    • Knowledgeable about DEI principles
    • Experience in developing and measuring recruiting processes
    • Knowledge of labor markets and recruiting practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Working knowledge of federal contractor environment
    • Ability to travel occasionally
    • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
    • HR Certifications are a plus
    • 10 years of relevant HR/Recruiting experience
    • 5 years management experience
    • Strategic recruiting experience in research, academic, consulting, or professional services environment
    • Experience using an ATS system; Workday experience desirable
