Einführung
The position involves providing secretarial and administrative support for project activities at national and/or regional levels. The role includes drafting documents, organizing meetings, managing project databases, and coordinating travel arrangements. The position requires proficiency in office software packages, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team under time pressure.
Aufgaben
- Draft standard correspondence and format documents related to project activities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support for meetings and workshops
- Support knowledge management duties of the project
- Maintain files and official records related to project activities
- Liaise with other work units for task completion
- Process travel arrangements and prepare cost estimates
- Prepare routine financial data and statements
- Process transactions in IRIS
- Arrange payment for resource persons and maintain records
- Maintain project databases and filing system
- Perform other assigned duties
Voraussetzungen
- Completion of secondary school education
- Three to four years of general clerical experience
- Practical experience with standard office software packages
- Excellent knowledge of the working language and good knowledge of English
