Einführung
RAND is seeking highly motivated AI and Information Security Analysts to impact AI, biosecurity, and cybersecurity policy in government and beyond. Analysts will advance research in AI, information security, and biosecurity, driving recommendations for various government entities and industry. They will apply technical skills in AI, machine learning, data science, and computer science to develop threat models, execute evaluations, contribute to research approaches, and communicate results to diverse audiences.
Aufgaben
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research in AI, information security, and biosecurity
- Develop AI-specific threat models and recommendations for risk mitigation
- Execute evaluations and red-teaming exercises
- Contribute to the development of research approaches at the intersection of AI, information security, and policy
- Create tooling and software to support research efforts
- Translate and communicate results to various audiences
Voraussetzungen
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Experience in AI, machine learning, data science, information security, and computer science
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with programming languages and data analysis/visualization/simulation libraries
