Einführung
The European Climate Foundation (ECF) is offering a six-month full-time internship in Brussels, Belgium under the EU Institutional Relations Programme. The programme focuses on navigating European and national politics to build political will for accelerated climate action. The intern will monitor political developments, maintain stakeholders' mappings, support drafting of key political event readouts, attend events, and assist in organizing meetings and events. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in a relevant field, a genuine interest in climate policy, good knowledge of EU policy-making processes, and strong administrative and computer skills. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
Aufgaben
- Monitor news and political developments related to clean industry, climate finance, and energy
- Develop and maintain stakeholders' mappings within the European Parliament and European Commission
- Support drafting of readouts round key political events
- Draft notes and analysis from internal and external team meetings
- Attend events and share key insights with team members
- Organize meetings or events
- Coordinate internal processes
Voraussetzungen
- University degree in a field relevant to climate policy
- Good knowledge of climate & energy discussions and EU policy-making processes
- Ability to work well under pressure, be autonomous, take initiative, and solve problems creatively
- Enthusiastic personality with a positive attitude
- Strong administrative and computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Fluency in English, knowledge of other European languages is a plus
