Einführung
TransUnion is seeking a Consultant for Data Science & Analytics - Integration and Deployment team. The role involves devising solutions, guiding projects, creating model designs, and contributing to new product development. The Consultant will be responsible for test plan development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and maintaining program integrity. Strong software development skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge of credit industry are required for success in this role.
Aufgaben
- Devise solutions that align with organizational objectives
- Guide major projects impacting cross-functional teams
- Create complex model designs and solutions
- Develop proof of concept or beta versions of products/services
- Assist team and peers independently and proactively
- Maintain program integrity and troubleshoot processing issues
- Administer best practices and risk mitigation strategies
- Consult with business users on best practices
- Identify initiatives to accomplish department goals
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software development
- 5+ years of experience in analytic/scientific software development in Financial Services or related industry
- Strong coding skills in C/C++ and experience in C#, Java, R, and/or Python
- Expert knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance
- Experience with programming languages like Ab-Initio, SQL, R, Apache Spark, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence others and champion change
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
