Einführung
CBM is seeking a Humanitarian Technical Specialist to reinforce the Nigeria Country Office Team. The specialist will be responsible for coordinating humanitarian preparedness and response activities, developing strategies, engaging in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluating programs, and building partnerships for inclusive humanitarian action. The position requires a university degree in humanitarian/development studies or related field, at least 5 years of experience in emergency preparedness and humanitarian program management, and knowledge of Sphere standards and humanitarian principles. Aufgaben
- Overall coordination of humanitarian preparedness and response portfolio
- Engage in Country Strategic Planning processes
- Lead country situation analysis and stakeholder mapping
- Provide oversight and support to humanitarian team and partners
- Ensure robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning frameworks
- Identify funding opportunities and lead proposal development
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Promote inclusive humanitarian work at different levels
- Take immediate action in new humanitarian crises
- Conduct partner assessments and capacity building initiatives
- Contribute to collective learning within the organization
Voraussetzungen
- University degree in humanitarian/development studies or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in emergency preparedness and humanitarian programme management
- Experience in partnership management and capacity building
- Strong project proposal development skills
- Knowledge of Sphere standards and humanitarian context
- Experience in strategic planning and budget management
