They are seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure for turning raw data into actionable insights, supporting clients in achieving their goals. The role involves developing data architectures, ensuring data accessibility for analytical tasks, and collaborating with data scientists. Aufgaben
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures such as databases, large-scale processing systems, and data warehouses.
- Ensure data is organized and easily accessible for analytical and machine learning tasks.
- Work closely with data scientists to enable seamless data flows and optimize performance.
Voraussetzungen
- Top of your class at a renowned university in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of database systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python (e.g. Pandas library).
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a high-performance environment like a start-up, preferably in a data engineering role.
- Fluent in English (Fluency in German is a plus).
