Einführung
TransUnion is seeking a Consultant in Data Science and Analytics with proficiency in statistical programming languages, big data processing, and data extraction from relational databases. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. The Consultant will be responsible for statistical analysis, data mining, forecasting, building models, and evaluating products and customer segments. This hybrid position involves virtual and in-person work at a TransUnion office location.
Aufgaben
- Proficient with statistical programming languages such as R or Python
- Familiar with big data processing applications
- Extracting data from relational databases (SQL)
- Conducting detailed root-cause analyses and generating insights
- Monitoring and interacting with billing systems
- Performing statistical analysis and data mining methods
- Forecasting series and impact of shifts in marketing spend
- Identifying KPIs and thresholds
- Building models
- Evaluating products and customer segments
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous detailed analytics experience with digital, mobile, contact center, operational, or financial data
- Proficiency in Ab Initio is a plus
- Experience with BI tools and data visualization
