Einführung
The Communications Associate - Digital Engagement role at UNHCR in Somalia focuses on utilizing digital media platforms to position UNHCR as a knowledge leader, expand outreach, and engage with forcibly displaced and stateless persons. The role involves creating multimedia content, managing social media, analyzing web traffic, and integrating digital strategies into the Country Communications Strategy.
Aufgaben
- Create multimedia content to increase media reach and visibility effectiveness
- Integrate digital into all aspects of the Country Communications Strategy
- Maintain a web and social media calendar with content plans
- Generate and analyze reports on social media/web traffic and KPIs
- Produce compelling content for online audiences
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, social science, communication, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in journalism and/or writing for the web
- Experience in maintaining social media accounts and new media executions
- Knowledge of local and global digital landscape and trends
- Experience with graphic design and creating designs for digital media
- Ability to integrate PR/communication initiatives with social media
- Experience in reporting on qualitative and quantitative analytics
