    Einführung

    The Master Thesis / Student Assistant position at the Peter Grünberg Institute (PGI-15) involves integrating an event-based neuromorphic accelerator into a computer system with a RISC-V processor, running an operating system, and integrating various interfaces. The role requires knowledge of RISC-V core generators, Xilinx interface controller IPs, OS image production, bootloader writing, and system boot-up. Candidates should have a background in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or related fields, with experience in embedded software or computer engineering. Proficiency in C/Scala/HDL programming and familiarity with neuromorphic systems/spike neural networks is advantageous. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment at RWTH Aachen, with flexible working hours and competitive remuneration.

    Aufgaben

    • Integrating event-based neuromorphic accelerator in a computer system
    • Learning to use RISC-V core generator and generate an OS capable processor

    • Connecting event camera to the board

    Voraussetzungen
