The Advocacy and Campaigns Senior Manager role at ONE Campaign in Scandinavia, Sweden involves leading advocacy and campaigning efforts to create economic opportunities and healthier lives in Africa. The role requires collaboration with government officials, NGOs, and decision-makers in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of global development policy issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design and implement campaigns. This is a temporary 1-year contract based in Stockholm.
Aufgaben
- Design and implement advocacy and campaigning strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, NGOs, and think tanks
- Prepare policy documents and briefings for internal and external audiences
- Monitor and report on development policies in Scandinavian countries
- Create and deploy impactful campaigns on social media
- Provide market-specific perspectives to policy discussions
- Collaborate with organizational teams for policy change
- Represent the organization at meetings and conferences
- Other tasks as assigned
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, law, or a development-related field preferred
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years in policy, advocacy, government, or campaign role
- 3+ years in a management or lead capacity
- Understanding of policy, advocacy, campaigning, and media work
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in digital campaigning is a plus
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a global team and culturally diverse environment
- Dedication to the organization's mission and policy priorities
- Authorized to work in Sweden
