Blue Yonder is seeking a Senior Data Scientist II with expertise in Machine Learning and Python to work on their AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions. The role involves implementing machine learning models, data enrichment, feature selection, and collaborating with product, sales, and engineering teams to shape solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation, deep knowledge of data science and industry best practices, and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Aufgaben
- Implement machine learning models
- Procure data from platform, client, and public data sources
- Implement data enrichment and cleansing routines
- Implement features and prepare modeling data sets
- Evaluate candidate models and report on test performance
- Ensure proper runtime deployment of models
- Implement runtime monitoring of model inputs and performance
- Work with product, sales, and engineering teams to shape up solutions
- Use data to understand patterns and test hypotheses
- Prepare sales materials and estimate hardware requirements
- Attend client meetings to discuss functionality
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Solid understanding of data science and deep learning foundations
- Proficient in Python programming with solid understanding of data structures
- Experience with frameworks and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, Jupyter, Matplotlib
- Expertise in database query language, SQL preferred
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Snowflake, Apache Beam/Spark/Flink, Databricks
- Experience with major cloud platforms, preferably Azure and/or GCP
- Knowledge of modern software development tools and best practices like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Jira
- Familiarity with deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, combinatorial optimization
- Experience guiding junior data scientists
