Einführung
The Atlantic Council GeoTech Center is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the delivery of global technology policy initiatives, including project management, event coordination, administrative support, stakeholder management, research, and analysis. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of emerging technologies, strong project oversight skills, and experience in policy and regulatory matters. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and writing abilities, as well as the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute to AI research and policy advocacy.
Aufgaben
- Oversee the delivery of global technology policy initiatives
- Coordinate virtual and physical policy workshops, events, analytical briefs, and exclusive meetings
- Provide project oversight and event coordination
- Support research and editorial endeavors
- Engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and subject matter experts
- Serve as a key resource on artificial intelligence (AI) related topics
- Manage projects from proposal to impact analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends and policy developments
- Document and report on events and meetings
Voraussetzungen
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in a related field
- Advanced degree in International Affairs, Geopolitics, Technology, or Data Sciences preferred
- Proven project management and event coordination skills
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to dynamic environments
- In-depth understanding of data, technology, and policy issues
- Proficiency in English with superior writing and editing skills
