Einführung
The CLC Finance Manager at EIT Food will play a pivotal role in ensuring sound financial management practices, effective reporting, and accounting functions. The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing financial systems, and overseeing grant agreements. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the implementation of ERP systems. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Finance or a related field, solid experience in finance and accounting, and excellent knowledge of grant agreements and ERP systems.
Aufgaben
- Set up, maintain, and produce timely monthly financial reports for management review.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial reporting process.
- Collaborate closely with the Financial Director to ensure alignment with the overall financial strategy.
- Support in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Ensure effective management of multiple grant agreements.
- Maintain a high level of technical accounting knowledge.
- Oversee compliance with grant conditions.
- Lead improvements in the purchasing process.
- Facilitate the connection between ERP systems for transaction processing and reporting.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams.
- Lead and manage financial matters independently within the subsidiary.
- Support South region partners acting as a liaison with cross-functional teams.
Voraussetzungen
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent.
- Solid experience in finance, accounting, and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of Horizon Europe Grant Agreements and eligibility conditions of costs.
- Proven use of management and reporting tools for different European and Regional reporting tools.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with specific experience in Odoo or NetSuite preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels in multinational teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written) and preferably another European language.
