Einführung
The Manager, Mobility position at C40 is responsible for developing and executing the private stakeholder engagement strategy in India to increase private sector participation and engagement in climate action. The role involves working closely with senior managers and stakeholders in the industry, government, and other organizations to support the transition to zero-emission vehicles and accelerate the shift to electric mobility. The Manager, Mobility will also be responsible for developing industry engagement strategies, identifying barriers and solutions, and tracking industry and policy changes. The position requires strong networking skills, experience in engaging with stakeholders, and a thorough understanding of decarbonization strategies in the mobility sector in Indian cities.
Aufgaben
- Develop and execute the private stakeholder engagement strategy
- Establish and manage the private stakeholder engagement workstream
- Deliver technical, policy, and strategic support
- Work closely with communications and campaigns teams
- Engage with stakeholders in the region
- Support city government stakeholders in their climate policies
- Develop industry engagement strategy with vehicle manufacturers
- Support fleet transition to zero-emission vehicles
- Map existing and potential OEMs and track industry changes
- Engage with government officials and facilitate dialogue
- Identify opportunities for joint initiatives with stakeholders
- Coordinate with partners on industry engagement
- Oversee development of technical and communications materials
- Track and report on contracts, budgets, and deliverables
- Support drafting policy recommendations
- Represent C40 at local and regional events
- Other duties as assigned
Voraussetzungen
- Great networking skills
- Experience working with business stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of decarbonization strategies in mobility sector
- Experience engaging with government, business, or NGO sectors
- Experience in strategy development
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English, fluency in Indian languages preferred
- Right to work in the country
- Moderate travel may be required
